Your centre for family and individual support in Ballyhaunis.

Established in 2004, our Centre has been supporting families and individuals in Ballyhaunis for over 20 years. As part of the national network of Family Resource Centres funded by Tusla, we are committed to building a strong, inclusive, and empowered community where everyone feels supported and connected.

Our vision is of a resilient community rooted in participation, social justice, and collective wellbeing. To achieve this, we create a friendly and welcoming environment where people can access practical supports, develop skills, build confidence, and take part in community life.

We work with local families, individuals, community groups, and partner organisations to respond to the real needs of our area. This includes:

  • Family support through one-to-one services, parenting programmes, and child contact supports.
  • Counselling, play therapy, and personal development opportunities.
  • Education, training, and community group development.
  • Leisure Activities for Adults & Children.
  • Information, advice, referrals, and practical assistance.
  • Sporting, physical, and wellbeing activities through the Ballyhaunis Sports Hub.
  • Childcare services at our Community Preschool and Greater Tomorrow Childcare Service.
  • Programmes to support older people, including the Senior Alert Scheme.

By working together, we aim to reduce isolation, overcome disadvantage, and create opportunities for children, families, and individuals to thrive.
